John Hartman

John attended Brigham Young University where he earned a Master of Accountancy degree. He spent the first four years of his career with Deloitte as a CPA, then pursued his interest in real estate development by joining DMB Associates, a developer of master-planned communities across the western United States.

John has worked with Landmark Companies maximizing investments in development land holdings, residential master-planned communities, retail centers, and self-storage facilities. His responsibilities have included deal flow, underwriting, entitlement, project management, equity and debt financing, acquisitions and dispositions, asset management, risk management, and contract negotiation.

His self-storage experience includes entitlement and development of numerous facilities in the Phoenix and Tucson markets, along with operating, expanding, and repositioning existing facilities. He has also been active in community service and nonprofit leadership.
